Parent Orientation Programme @ HIS Guindy

‘No school can work well for children if parents and teachers do not act in partnership on behalf of children’s best interest’ – Dorothy H Cohen.

At Hindustan International School, Guindy, Parent’s Orientation was held on 1st June 2019 for the new parents who got added to its family. The aim was to familiarise the parents with the curriculum, rules and regulations of the school, assessments and the co-scholastic activities.

The session started with an address by the Principal, Ms Sunmita Shinde who focused on the history of the institution, the Cambridge pathway and the other co-curricular activities offered at HIS, Guindy. The session was then taken forward by Ms Anjali Mistry, who enlightened the parents on the rules and regulations at the institution. Ms Roseline stressed about the Assessment followed at HIS, Guindy from Grade 1 through Grade 10. Ms Vithiya centred her talk on the Pre- Primary curriculum followed at HIS, Guindy.

The session concluded with our Principal, who readily answered the questions of the parents. The orientation programme ended on a good note with the aim of growing our children into happy, skilful and creatively well- adjusted citizens.
